Kalshi historical data download

Price history and every trade for any Kalshi market, as a CSV. Paste a ticker or a market link. Open, settled and archived markets all work, and there is no API key, sign-up or code involved.

Try or . Tickers are on every Kalshi market page, under the rules.

What you get

  • Price history: OHLC candles at 1 minute, 1 hour or 1 day, with the closing yes bid and ask, volume and open interest. Good for charting a market, backtesting an entry rule or seeing how fast a price moved on news.
  • The trade tape: every execution with price, size and which side the taker bought, for order-flow and volume work.
  • Whole events: paste an event ticker and pick from every outcome in it.

Under the hood this calls Kalshi's public API (candlesticks, trades, and the /historicalarchive for markets past the cutoff). If you'd rather script it yourself, the Kalshi order book and historical data API guide has the endpoints and a Python loop.

Market data shows the crowd. Your fills show your edge.

A price chart tells you where a market went. It doesn't tell you whether your own trades in it made money after fees. FillBook pulls your Kalshi fills with a read-only key, works out realized P&L per market with fees included, breaks it down by sport, market type and holding time, and checks the result against Kalshi's own numbers so you can see it ties out.

FAQ

How do I download Kalshi historical data?
Paste a market ticker (or an event ticker, or the kalshi.com market link) into the tool above, pick price history or trades, and click Download CSV. It walks Kalshi's public API for you, including the archived /historical endpoints for older markets, so you don't need an API key or a script.
Where do I find a Kalshi market ticker?
Every Kalshi market page lists it in the rules section, and it is the last part of the market URL. Tickers look like KXFEDDECISION-26OCT-H0: series, then event, then the specific outcome. Paste an event ticker (KXFEDDECISION-26OCT) and the tool lists every market in it.
What is in the price history CSV?
One row per candle: time (UTC), trade price open/high/low/close and mean, the closing yes bid and yes ask, volume and open interest. Prices are in dollars, so 0.62 means 62 cents. Pick 1-minute, hourly or daily candles.
What is in the trades CSV?
Every executed trade on the market, newest first: time (UTC), yes price, no price, contracts (Kalshi allows fractional contracts, so two decimals), the side the taker bought, and Kalshi's trade id. Very active markets are capped at 50,000 trades per download.
Does it work for settled or old Kalshi markets?
Yes. Kalshi moves settled markets older than about three months to a separate historical archive. The tool checks both the live and the archived endpoints, so finalized markets download the same way as open ones.
Can I download my own Kalshi trades and P&L?
Not with this tool: it only reads public market data. Your own fills need a read-only API key. FillBook imports them, checks the result against Kalshi's own per-market numbers, and exports every position with fees and realized P&L.

Data comes straight from Kalshi's public API at the time you download it. Not affiliated with Kalshi.
